The Vicar-General of the Catholic Apostolic National Church …

The Very Reverend Fr. Jerome D. Kwasek is the Vicar-General of the Catholic Apostolic National Church. In this ecclesiastical office, he is the assistant to the Archbishop of the Province of the United States, the spiritual head of the church in North America. As Vicar General, he oversees the administration of the church, coordinates the activities of the Vicars-General of the various dioceses, coordinates international church activities, and oversees the various ecclesiastical offices of the church. In addition, the Vicar-General is the point of contact for ecumenical and inter-religious affairs. The Vicar-General is also an advisor to the International College of Bishops.

The Catholic Apostolic National Church adheres to the teachings of the ancient, universal church, and seeks to spread the faith of the church to all parts of the world. Our parishes adhere to the traditional teachings of the church, preferring them over the innovations found in denominations around the world today. Our charge is the establishment of parishes and missions worldwide, to serve the Body of Christ.

The Very Reverend Fr. Jerome Dominic Kwasek …

Rev. Fr. Kwasek began his sacramental service, as founding pastor of the parish of St. Francis and St. Tarcicius, in San Diego, California. As pastor of this parish, he nurtured it and saw it take firm root. Along the way, his willingness to “reach across the pew” allowed many other Christian denominations to get a first hand look at who we are, and spread a sound understanding of our theology.

As a result of constant communication, dialogue and inquiry, the Vatican agreed to meet with Rev. Fr. Kwasek, the CANC’s designated emissary. Traveling to Rome, Rev. Fr. Kwasek met with the Pontifical Council on Promoting Christian Unity. As a result of that meeting, additional, ongoing dialogue between Rome and the CANC continue.
